This wedding was so beautiful that it’s hard to believe it’s only been a year since we were first married. So many people have commented on how beautiful all of the decorations were, and I’m sure that’s because they were so proud of the wedding and the person they married. We had a lot of fun planning it too. The food was great, and we had a lot of fun with it.
The wedding was held at a beautiful church in the hills of Virginia, which is conveniently near the Virginia Tech campus. We had a couple of hours to get ready, so we went with all of the options they had for the venue. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing when it comes to wedding planning, but we were able to find a venue that was perfect for us.

Although I’m not sure if Sarah got to see the wedding, because she was still in the hospital with an infection, but I definitely got to see her wedding dress.
As Sarah was still recovering she asked to be excused from her wedding. We were able to see her wedding dress, which was stunning. We have a feeling her dress wasn’t quite as fabulous as she’d hoped after having it made.
Sarah’s dress was made by Aveda – who are some of the best in the industry, and we hope they get the recognition they deserve.
