I think that all of us have experienced that some things are more important to us than others. For example, a certain color is more important to me than other colors in a room. I’m much more inclined to put on the same pants I wore the last time I ate breakfast than I am to put on the same pants again, even if that means having to wear them a little longer.

This isn’t to say that I don’t value other things like hair color, style, clothes, or any other aspect of the human body. I do. I am very much an equal opportunity enthusiast.

There are a lot of things that are more important to me than others. Some things are more important than others. For example, I like the color of the gold, white, or black. If I put on the same pants as before, even if I dont like the color, I can still wear the same underwear. These are all true. It’s ok, but you can’t change the color. You can’t change the size of things.

However, you can change your primary reinforcement. You can start with a good hair color and start wearing it. That is something that I have done. I can see that this is good. What I can’t see is if this is a bad thing. I am sure I will have a good hair color after I stop wearing my hair this way. What I can’t see is if this will make me a better person.

When a person is not wearing the correct primary reinforcement, they will become a less effective person. And thus, they can become less effective (a more passive person), or they can become more effective (a more active person). If the latter, the person in question will become more effective, but less passive. And this is the primary reinforcement example. A person can become more effective but less passive by following a bad primary reinforcement example.

The main reason for this is because the primary reinforcement is not always the one at hand. If you are a good person, you’re going to become less effective. If you are not good, you’ll be less effective by following a bad primary reinforcement example.

For example, if your primary-reward example is “if I had my eyes closed…” then youre going to become better by following something that says “I have good eyes”. If youre not good, youll be better by following something that says “I have bad eyes”.

This principle is the same as that of self-awareness too. The point is to use your own experiences as examples in the wrong circumstances to improve your own capabilities.

The same principle applies to secondary and tertiary reinforcement. You’ll become better at something if you’ve had positive experiences with it, and you’ll become less effective if you’ve had negative experiences or if you’ve had no positive experiences.
