It’s not that you should expect to get a ton of money just from an indie game. You need to expect a lot from a blockbuster game. Especially when you’re looking at a game like Destiny 2, which is expected to be the big game of the summer. That kind of attention can often take a lot of hard work. But it’s not just about getting things for free. You also need to get a lot of attention.

Thats exactly what happens to Bungie. Destiny 2, after all of its hype and its press, is more of a game than the game it was supposed to be. Of course, the game isn’t perfect. Some of its mechanics are clumsy and the story is a bit confusing. But there are still hundreds of players who have spent hundreds of hours playing, who have been waiting for a new hero, who have been waiting for new powers.

In recent weeks Bungie has been on fire and its a sign that the game is finally hitting its stride. Last week it was a surprise announcement that the upcoming shooter Destiny 2, would be free to play. We all knew we had to play. And we all knew it would be a lot of fun. The problem is that it’s not free to play. Its a game that comes with a subscription, one that costs $60 or $90 a year.
